If you haven’t heard the news already, a boy from Nebraska named Colton Burbo is claiming he went to heaven and sat on Jesus’ lap. He also claims he saw his great-grandfather and spoke with him as well as his unborn sister. When asked, Colton described what heaven was like, “Well, there’s a lot of colors, there are a lot of people and a lot of animals”. Is that as vague as you can be? I mean come on! He also said everyone had wings, including himself. And yet, I’ve heard from people that the Bible itself claims that humans aren’t angels and that only angels have wings.
This to me sounds like the perfect storm to bubble up a New York Times Best Seller book and it is beyond cynical. This is down right atrocious. I mean the father is a priest for goodness sake. He even said his four-year old woke out of surgery a ‘new person’… at four? And now seven years later the book comes out named, Heaven Is For Real. I know devout Christians that say this is a load of hocus pocus. Of all the gin joints in all the world and this [then] four-year old is the only one to have had this experience…
This is all just more he-said-she-said tomfoolery, I suggest you don’t buy into it. Let me know what you think, I’ve posted the video interview below.
